What To Do In Switzerland?

Switzerland has always demanded immediate attention – it’s a country that makes you want to grab your hiking boots and let your spots flow.

And why not?

The county has some of the most beautiful rural landscapes where snowboarding and skiing are the activities of the winter. When the ice thaws away, hop on a bike and cycle through the biking trails towards the glacier covered mountains and towards valleys that lead to glittering lakes and vineyards.

Not interested?

The ideal antidote to all the rural laidbackness is the urban edge of Switzerland; the capital Bern combines its mediaeval old Town with modern day art galleries and skyscrapers, Lausanne is the go-to spot for the party-loving crowd while Geneva subs against the continent’s largest lake. Of course, it would be scandalous not to mention Basel with its bold and distinctively German architecture and Zurich, famous for its riverside cafes and industrial district.

And then there is the cuisine; a hearty gastronomic celebration of varieties of cheese just begging to be dipped in along with air dried meat and autumn game.
